  • Abstract
    In many wireless communication systems, two-dimensional Directions-Of-Arrival (DOA) of wideband signals needs to be found for spatial selective transmission. In this paper, based on the generalized spectral correlation signal subspace fitting (GSC-SSF), we propose a new method to estimate 2-D elevation/azimuth angle of wideband signals by exploiting the temporal feature of signals, i.e., cyclostationarity. The theoretical analysis shows that, without need of 2-D search or 2-D parameter match, this method is bandwidth-independent and suitable for multi-rate multimedia communications. Simulation results are given to illustrate the performance of the new algorithm
