Abstract
Most steganographic techniques use either LSB or DCT coefficients to secretly embed data inside images. The first technique, has the drawback of being able to encrypt only one bit per color pixel. Recently, two new techniques for hiding data using Fibonacci decomposition has been developed, which enable a more sophisticated approach. In this work, we present a new embedding method, which generalizes the idea of Fibonacci decomposition, enabling more data to be embedded in an image with good statistical properties. The proposed method is currently developed for greyscale images.
