The Influence of Renewable Energy Utilization on Technical Efficiency in Different Countries

With the development of the world economic, more and more renewable energy has been used. But countries´ level of economic development and the way of growth are not the same so do their level of renewable energy consumption. The change of renewable energy utilization is in line with the international current of emission reduction energy saving and environmental protection so it is very important to understand the meaning of the renewable energy utilization to improving the economic efficiency. This paper used data envelopment analysis to get the technical efficiency of the sample countries. Based on these the impact of renewable energy utilization to technical efficiency was found by regression analysis. All of these gave a basis for improving technical efficiency.
