Abstract :
To gain an understanding of the interaction between ELF electromagnetic fields produced by mobile phones and biological tissue, knowledge of the low frequency spectral characteristics of different mobile phones is required. Investigation showed that GSM and AMPS mobile phones exhibit different but distinct low frequency electromagnetic spectral components. It is speculated that these low frequency components, in particular those close to normal brain wave frequencies between 1-30 Hz may produce effects on the human EEG
