Abstract :
Based on the analysis of existed evaluation algorithms, the paper proposes a fast method of estimating Gaussian noise. The proposed method firstly pre-filter the image to remove the influence of image content; then plot the image to obtain sub-plots´ variance; and lastly calculate variance of original noise according to sub-plots´ variance. Experimental results validate the proposed method.
