Abstract :
A novel near-field nano-imager based on nanophotodetector (NPD) array is presented. Simulation shows lambda/10 resolution could be obtained by NPD array. The initially realized NPD devices at 1.5 mum wavelength have the smallest pixel size of 50 nm.
