Abstract
There is a new and emerging technology that will cause us to expand the acronym of C4I. This new area is video. Video on the battlefield is a reality. Video is defined primarily to be videoteleconferencing, but includes imagery (combat camera included) as well. The present paper only addresses the videoteleconferencing capability for the warrior. Because of the importance that video will have to the commander in the years to come, it is now time to update the acronym C4I to C4IV with the "V" standing for video. To demonstrate the importance of video to the warrior and commander the author concentrates on the TACCIMS video implementation in the Republic of Korea for the Combined Forces Command
