Abstract :
This paper documents the efforts and the results of those efforts with respect to the raw grinding system now employed as part of the recently completed cement plant expansion by Texas Industries´ subsidiary, Riverside Cement Company (TXI), in Oro Grande, California. After careful consideration of options available, TXI chose to install a high pressure grinding roll (HPGR) system for its new state-of-the-art facility.
