Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate sub-diffraction-limit focuses achieved by surface plasmonic (SP) lenses directly fabricated on the endfaces of regular single-mode optical fibers. The fiber-based SP lens provides a solution to bridge nanophotonics and conventional optics.
