Abstract
DOTIG1 is a computer program developed at Granada University for the study, in the time domain, of the interaction of arbitrary electromagnetic signals with thin-wire structures. It calculates the current distribution induced on the structure by solving the electric field integral equation using the moment method. In order to get an accurate solution for the current special attention was paid to the zones in which the wires intersect. In this paper the authors compare the results obtained using different junction treatments studying how stable and accurate they are and their agreement with results obtained, in the frequency domain, using the NEC computer code
