Abstract :
In recent years, many routing protocols and mobility management methods for hierarchical mobile ad hoc networks have been proposed, however few schemes are aimed to improve the routing performance under high node mobility. This paper presents a mobility management algorithm built upon HOLSR (Hierarchical Optimum Link State Routing) routing protocol. Besides default route, temporary route between mobile node and cluster head is established to provide sustained communication. Simulation experiments are conducted, and the results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
