Abstract :
The cardio/vascular X-Ray products developed by Philips Medical Systems are very large and complex multi-disciplinary systems. Typically, these systems have a lifecycle of around 15 years. During the lifecycle, a constant stream of diverse innovations and new technologies has to be integrated into the systems. This paper illustrates some of our reengineering efforts to adopt a newly developed control platform for the cardio/vascular X-Ray product line
