    Presents some of the key conclusions of an analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to intelligent transport systems (ITS). Discusses in detail what ITS can offer to support the objectives of the UK Government´s White Paper on transport, of 1998, and the aspirations of the more recent 10-year plan, with reference to the technical developments presented into the broader political context
