Abstract :
The authors employed ultrafast pulse trains generated by a pulse shaper to measure the time-resolved reflectivity of Bi. It is shown that coherent phonon vibration can be manipulated by the pulse train. Also, the materials´ removal is independent of the separation time of the pulse train.
