Abstract :
DC-DC converter plays important role in power conversion. They are used in many applications like solar energy conversion system, computer power supplies, switching mode regulators etc. Main issue in buck converter is that when load and supply voltage changes, output of buck converter changes, that reduces converter efficiency and power efficiency. Control action of buck converter involves maintaining constant output voltage in presence of change in load and change in supply voltage conditions. In this paper design and simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK of buck converter output voltage using fuzzy logic control is presented. Simulation results are presented to prove that the steady state deviations of fuzzy controller are minimum, which is major advantage of fuzzy logic controller.
