Abstract
In this paper, we propose a slots reservation scheme based on the nodes´ position prediction in wireless sensor networks with IEEE 802.15.4 standard. To forecast the mobile nodes´ location, a two-order forward filter model is used. Then, a guaranteed time slots reservation and allocation algorithm as well as the design method are introduced to reserve resources according to the estimated position. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm could improve the connectivity and system reliability.
