Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an automatic 3D watermarking system named as 3DGuard. It is transparent to users and applications and works according to security policies. It also prevents users from circumventing the predefined security policy. 3DGuard is designed for a networked intelligent manufacturing system that uses virtual reality technology for design review, simulation and virtual manufacturing. The proposed 3DGuard can trace the last user of 3D data files and a user is able to prove his/her ownership with it.
