Abstract :
This paper investigates the possibility of using a non-persistent CSMA protocol for the medium access, and presents the results of simulation work undertaken to demonstrate the performance of the protocol under differing network loading in terms of its throughput and delay. The model was constructed to allow such parameters as network size, user population, average frame length and load to be configurable at simulation level
