Abstract :
Silicon is evolving as a versatile photonic platform with multiple functionalities that can be seamlessly integrated. We have recently demonstrated the ability to guide, detect and switch multiple wavelength sources at GHz bandwidths and fJ powers on a microelectronic chip.
