Abstract :
We propose a dual-band tunable transmitter for WDM-PON. The transmitter has a versatile function of both tunable OLT source and tunable line monitoring source of OTDR on a single optical platform. The performance of dual-band OLT transmitter using self-locked RSOA is experimentally evaluated and has more than 10 nm tuning ability.
