Abstract :
NAT-PT is a scheme dedicated to serve the pure IPv4 host to communicate with the pure IPv6 host during the transition period of the Internet. We have implemented a full-functional NAT-PT gateway software based on RFC2765 and RFC2766, and some key upper-layer protocols such as HTTP, FTP and TELNET have been tested on it. We have also adopted several techniques in the gateway software implementation to get better performance and security.
