Abstract
We report on the latest advances in photonic technologies of functions required for optical routing and switching systems including wavelength conversion, monolithic tunable optical routers, payload envelope deacutetection, packet forwarding, optical buffers, optical synchronizers, optical clock recovery, mode-locked lasers and 3R regeneration.
