Abstract
The theory of rough set, raised by Polish scholar Z.Pawlak, is used as a mathematical tool that dealt with the probabilistic and fuzzy objects, takes on the function of simulating human preventative thinking. This text pass combining the rough set theory with TOPSIS method, and used in the process of desulfuration projects decision evaluation, through the analysis and research could be found that this new method not only can avoid the subjective influence of experts weight, also could provide to the decision makers a new evaluation way of objective evaluation about choosing a project .The evaluation result illustrate the science and rationality of the evaluation of desulfuration projects decision based on the importance degree of rough set and the TOPSIS method.
