  • Abstract
    We propose an electro-optic modulator in metal-insulator-metal (MIM) plasmonic waveguides with an electro-optic polymer film sandwiched between two layers of metals. The power modulation ratios are 3.65 dB when a modulator length is 2.15 um and switching times are expected to be in the microsecond-nanosecond time scale.
