Abstract
Nonequilibrium electron transport under very high electric fields up to 300 kV/cm has been investigated by time-domain terahertz spectroscopy. It is found that effective acceleration mass experienced by photoexcited electrons significantly increases with increasing fields (30 times at 300 kV/cm), suggesting strong band mixing into Wannier functions of electrons.
