Abstract :
This article focuses on using the algebra ring method optimizing the architecture of the SOVA decoder of turbo-code. The limitation of the SOVA algorithm on hardware implementation is explained and an algorithm level optimization method based on the defined algebra ring is introduced. At the same time, the performance of the algebra method is simulated with different word lengths and combined order
