  • Abstract
Economic pressures on universities and the emergence of new technologies have spurred the creation of new systems for delivering engineering practice teaching platform in education, in particular simulation system of practice teaching. By using the 3D CAD technology, an integrated practice teaching system for curriculum of mechanical parts measuring is presented. The system consists of three modules: 3D animation of mechanisms, assembly modeling of mechanisms and modeling of each part. Using 3D animation, the operating principle of mechanisms is shown clearly and visually. Moreover it can inspire enthusiasm of students for mechanical engineering. The graphics fundamental knowledge and practicing of 2D drawing and 3D virtual modeling are combined in practice teaching, so it can train the engineering consciousness and creative ability of students.
