  • Abstract
    We study the distribution of the waiting time before insertion on an optical ring with reservation of fixed size PDUs. We show how the repartition of the scheduled slots in the reservation window has a strong impact on this delay. We also study the occupation ratio of the optical physical data unit by IP, ATM or GSM packets.
