Abstract
A research on the motion stability of nonlinear vehicle suspension system with four degrees of freedom is proposed, under the conditions that forced vibration of road surface profile with single frequency excitation. According to the characteristics of magneto-rheological fluid damper, the software of Matlab is implemented to fit the Sigmoid model, and then deduces 1/2 suspension models. The frequency response characteristics of the model are analyzed subsequently. The vibration statuses of these systems with different excitations are finally illustrated by Poincare¿ diagram and bifurcate diagram, which are gained by using Runge-Kutta method.
