Abstract

The mobile Internet is the trend for the next generation networks and mobile multicast is one of the key technologies in it. This paper presents a mobile multicast scheme which combines inter multicast routing and intra multicast routing to construct a hierarchy multicast tree. This scheme can reduce multicast tree maintenance overhead while transfering packet in optimal routes with scalability. The good performance of this scheme is analyzed with mathematics
