Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a unified architecture of cloud service delivery platform that serves as a launch pad to deliver any IT resources, software in particular, as a service. A generic cloud service delivery platform is implemented based on the proposed unified architecture. A messaging-oriented-middleware (MoM) system is used as a supporting framework in the implementation. The platform currently hosts dozens of SaaS while offering billing, customer care, payment and BI as common services. The loosely-coupled open architecture is proven extremely helpful in accommodating the dynamic nature of the hosted SaaS; on-boarding a new SaaS requires minimum efforts, with minimum impact to the rest of the system.
