Abstract :
Secure communication is one of the most promising application of chaos theory. As chaotic signals were noise-like, unpredictable, using chaotic systems to design secure communication system is feasible and reliable. In this paper, we form an array with different kinds of chaotic system, and discuss the control method of the chaotic system array. A secure communication scheme based on the chaotic systems array is proposed. The masking signal of the new scheme is generated though processing the chaotic system array output signals with mathematical operations, signal process method or encryption algorithms. The types of chaotic system that formed chaotic system array, the control method of the array and the algorithms used for signal process can secondarily encrypt the secure communication system, which can make it work on a safer statue. The simulation results of basic secure communication cases which were built with Lorenz system and Chuas circuit show secure communication system constructed with chaotic system array works on a high security statue. The secure communication system built with chaotic system array is flexible, reliable, and achievable. When the secure communication system based on chaotic system array is constructed with FPGA, DSP and other ICs, it´s worth a further study of the application of this system in engineering.
