Abstract
With the rapid development of nonprofit organization and the growing power of large global corporation, the relationship between them becomes more important. How corporation interact with nonprofit organization in obtaining mutually desired goals will be the focus of the debate. It is a trend that enterprise build collaborate relationship with nonprofit organization in the field of social welfare. Because of the difference of characteristic of two organizations, this cross-sector collaboration has difference motivation. Enterprises can take social responsibilities and achieve strategy enrichment, talents, and culture building, while nonprofit organizations may gain revenue enhancement, human resource and synergies by cross-sector collaboration. And the cross-sector between enterprise and nonprofit organization make for collaboration in the project in the form of corporate philanthropy, employee volunteer program, sponsorship of causes, cause-related marketing, joint issue promotion, corporation charity fund etc. Future research on cross-sector collaboration would be strengthened in development and management of collaboration stage.
