Abstract :
We investigate coherent THz-induced dynamics for optical excitation in semiconductor quantum-wells via THz-pump and optical-probe experiments. Strong single-cycle THz pulses induce transient spectral-shifts and broadening of the light-hole and heavy-hole excitonic resonances in GaAs/AlGaAs quantum-wells.
