Abstract :
In the Internet-Based Virtual Computing Environment, a virtual commonwealth consists of a set of autonomic elements which have the same interest and obey the common principle. In the environment with open weak constraint, autonomic elements join or quit any virtual commonwealth freely. Because all the autonomic elements are free and uncontrollable, this introduces a risk of executing efficiency and the stability in the virtual commonwealth. This paper proposes a trust mechanism in Internet-Based Virtual Computing Environment, to measure and represent the trust value of an autonomic element. By comprehensive consideration of the importance of the task, the proposed mechanism chooses the autonomic element which has corresponding trust value to improve the efficiency of task execution and the success rate.
