Abstract
Betatron efficiency increase defined as the ratio of the bremsstrahlung dosage rate to the installation weight is mainly carried out in two ways. First of all it is carried out by increasing the number of particles accelerated in time. That is achieved by the voltage increase of electron injection, the increase of the frequency of acceleration cycles succession, the improvement of the procedure of input and mechanism of electrons capture in accelerating, etc. The second way is increasing finite energy of the accelerated electrons, as the energy and the bremsstrahlung dosage rate are interconnected with cubic dependence. The application of biasing core of betatron electromagnet with direct current is the most interesting and perspective way. It allows one to increase the value of magnetic induction on the radius of equilibrium orbit and thereby either to increase the energy of the accelerated electrons or to reduce the electromagnet weight
