Large diameter cable conduits [for urban power cables]

This paper considers the options available for providing additional high voltage electricity cable circuits in existing urban areas. It considers the relative merits compared with providing a large diameter conduit over direct burial. An outline of the process of providing a large diameter conduit, the procedures that should be followed and possible methods of construction is given as a guide for other engineering disciplines
