Abstract :
This paper studies the event-based control of nonlinear systems with state quantization. The quantizer is assumed to satisfy the sector bound condition. A sector bound design is developed to handle the influence of quantization and data-sampling simultaneously. Specifically, we consider the case in which the system state is quantized before sampled. By taking the advantage of the events generated by the quantizer, we propose a new event-triggering mechanism such that infinitely fast sampling can be avoided and global asymptotic convergence of the system state is achievable.
