Abstract :
A microprocessor-based digital speed control system of motor drive is discussed and the control algorithm results in an I-P control. A predictive state observer is introduced to obtain a practical deadbeat control system. The response, the sensitivity and the accuracy of the proposed motor speed control system are analyzed and several methods to improve the performances of the system are presented.
