Abstract :
This paper proposes a criterion for the stability of linear systems with interval fast time-varying delay. The novelty of the approach comes from a new integral inequality which is proved to be less conservative than the celebrated Jensen´s inequality. Based on the new integral inequality, we construct a dedicated Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and then give a much less conservative stability criterion than the existing ones for the systems under consideration. Finally, some classical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the result.
