  • Abstract
This paper seeks to extend Generalized Predictive Control (GPC) to tracking of trajectories in a periodic nature. The initial focus is on sinusoidal trajectories, but the work may be extended later on to a signal with bandlimited frequencies. In addition, this paper proposes strategies for optimizing the prefilter in GPC to improve the transient performance in setpoint tracking.
