  • Abstract
    We report an Er:YAG ring laser employing an acousto-optic modulator to enforce unidirectional operation. The laser yields 4.7 W of single-frequency output at 1645 nm in a beam with M2~1.03 for 14 W of pump power at 1532 nm.
