Abstract :
Medical imaging employs probing techniques. The interrogating energy probes access information which relates parameters. The very nature of probing also introduces artifacts, which affects diagnostic utility. Brain imaging techniques such as computerised tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), single-photon emission tomography (SPET) are being increasingly used research in disorders. By studying both morphological and physiological aspects of the brain practically by clinicians using imaging techniques provided by the instrumentation department. The pathogenesis of non-specific disorders and unrevealed diseases of the brain can be diagnosed and treated effectively
