Abstract :
The mechanism of pneumatic damping prosthetic knee was analyzed to improve the performance of prosthetic knee. Based on the mechanism description of the key parts of the prosthetic knee, a dynamic model of the whole prosthetic was established. The model was based on pneumatic damping prostheses knee with four-bar linkage. And the value of the control variable, the opening of the needle valve, could be calculated by the model directly, which makes the model more useful for control.
