Abstract :
In this paper, based on the topology of floorplan-aware hierarchical power quad-grids, an optimal network analysis method is proposed to accurately find the voltages of all the reference nodes and the currents of all the reference branches. For the wiring area assignment of floorplan-aware hierarchical power quad-grids, the experimental results show that the ILVCS approach (Yan, 2005) with our proposed network analysis uses less and only 25%~32% CPU time to release all the IR-drop voltage constraints than that with the Spice analysis for the tested examples
