Abstract :
This paper presents method to identify the users´ locations for indoor-users using wireless network devices. The method can specify wireless LAN users´ positions through wireless device drivers, the same methods as Global Position System (GPS) tracking ones, based on Microsoftreg Windowsreg driver development kit (DDK). The program developed by Visual C++. By using presented log-likelihood ratio (LLR) combined with geometry method, the error in distance of location tracking is approximated only 0.75-1.25 meters. The experiment provides a good result, faster tracking as well as real time approach compared with another method (Bahl and Padmanabhan, 2000) and (Sangwonlasilp, 2006)
