Abstract :
This paper is devoted to the analysis of a second order linear system with a piecewise linear feedback block exhibiting chaotic oscillations. The necessity of a feedback block which cannot be a function is pointed out. The analysis of the topological structure of the system is carried out by means of a point transformation method which allows one to form conclusions about the stability of the system as well as the location of unstable periodic orbits
