A summary of efforts toward the definition of potential upgrades to the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System

Efforts are underway in the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) Program Office to plan for potential upgrades to the JHMCS system. This planning is based on understanding improvements in operational capability that can be offered to the tactical fighter pilot, and the technologies that might make those improvements possible. In addition, there is a focus on evaluation of technological innovations that offer promise for improving the operational utility and affordability of the system. Veda Inc. was tasked by the program office to investigate and report on these areas to support technology transition and product improvement pre-planning efforts.
