Abstract :
We have developed a narrow-bandwidth (<2 cm-1) mid-IR optical parametric system with a large-aperture PPMgLN based 2 mum pump system. The system tuned from 4.7 to 10.6 mum, and the maximum output energy of 1.7 mJ was obtained.
