Abstract
Aiming at an air-cushioned headbox is a strong coupling, non-linear system, this paper presents an adaptive fuzzy controller,which combines regular fuzzy control with adaptive control, by the use of this controller benignly enables the decouple process, no influence has been had in the original coupling variables. Thus controlling difficulties have been effectively resolved for the systematic stronger coupling. Simulation results demonstrates that this control scheme achieves the decouple process by the use of self-study, self-regulation, self-adaptive, under the condition of unclear of internal parameters of controlled object. The benign dynamic and steady states properties have been obtained by the system, and having the certain application and commercial uses.
